The complaints that led to the resignation of Bruno Korquievicz Rodrigues, former administrative manager of Corinthians’ grassroots categories, involved conversations of sexual content with minors athletes of the club. The dialogues are in audios delivered to the club board and were released by the UOL website on Wednesday (29).>

Bruno, 25, is the son of Ricardinho, idol of Corinthians, a five -time world champion with the Brazilian team and today commentator of Globo. He arrived in Timon in September last year, after passages in Vasco, Portuguesa and Paraná, and was turned off last week, after complaints made by athletes bothered by the situation. >

The players themselves made the recordings, bothered by the tone of previous dialogues. The complaints, according to UOL, involved conversations of sexual content with three athletes, two of them minors. The Corinthians board also has Prints de Rodrigues making comments about the athletes’ body.>

See below some of Bruno Rodrigues’s lines in the recordings:>

“You have been without eating anyone for a long time, so I think you made a jacking off”;>

“If it was the friend I wanted to make it, I would call it even more”;>

“Is this bed good?” And, after hearing no, the manager says “just knelt, right?”>

Bruno Rodrigues’s press office, aligned with defense lawyers, admitted that it is the former manager’s voice in the audios, but denied “any kind of harassment.” He also said he considered “inappropriate and inadequate the conversation between those involved”, but said he will “seek to ensure that it is not taken from context so that there is no use of the episode for various purposes.”

Also according to UOL, Bruno was called by the Corinthians legal department to be turned off last Thursday (23), the same day the club received the complaint and before completing the internal investigation. When the former manager was informed about the subject at the meeting, he anticipated and resigned. With the departure of the former employee, the direction of Timão considered the matter closed internally, and no other action should be taken.

In a statement released last week, Corinthians stated that “he learned of complaints related to a base football department official and has already adopted the necessary measures to investigate the facts.” The club also pledged to provide psychological assistance to athletes who denounced the former manager.
