Teia d'Mir impulses expands inclusive arts festival by the Algarve

Since 2023, the Teia d’Edja Impuls’ Association has been developing the Inclusive Arts Festival, a project that aims to highlight the artistic skills of people at risk of social exclusion, promoting inclusion and equal opportunities through culture.

In the years 2025 and 2026, in the context of the “Inclusion for Culture” measure, integrated in the Algarve 2030 program, the festival expands its mission, strengthening the connection between social institutions and cultural agents. The objective is to bring inclusive culture to the entire Algarve region, covering from the Well to the levent and the coast to the interior, through a diverse program of artistic and cultural activities.

The Inclusive Arts Festival will feature several initiatives, including four workshops, an artistic residency, an inclusive show, an affordable digital platform and a traveling exhibition.

The first dance, dedicated to dance workshop, will take place on February 13 at the Irene Rolo Foundation in Tavira. It is intended for people of all ages with functional diversity. Participation is free, but subject to mandatory registration, available.

With this initiative, Web d’Puis reaffirms its commitment to community development, underlining art as a powerful instrument of inclusion, equity and social transformation.
