Bitencourt wrote to Moraes that the minister himself assured the defense of Cid the confidentiality of the award -winning denunciation. Lieutenant Colonel’s lawyers did not have access to the copies of the testimonials, by decision of the Supreme Minister.

Cid’s award -winning denunciation with the PF was in September 2023. The first statement boosted the scam’s inquiry, but was complemented in the following months, even advancing.
In all, Cid gave at least ten testimonials to the PF in the context of collaboration. He gave details of investigators about Bolsonaro’s discussions and allies by a coup at the end of 2022, the sale of state jewelry for the benefit of the former president and the forgery of vaccination wallets.
Only the first testimonial was made public, over the weekend, in. It was given in August 2023.
Cid said at the time that, after the elections, three groups graduated around Bolsonaro.
