Company that is already in Portugal presents the first flying car in the world

The age of flying cars no longer belongs to science fiction. During CES 2025, one of the largest international technology fairs, held in Las Vegas, Xpeng Aerht – Xpeng Motors flying vehicle division – presented Land Aircraft Carrier. This innovative vehicle combines terrestrial and air mobility, representing a significant advance in the way we move. With more than three thousand orders, this modular model for the first flying car promises to revolutionize the future of transport.

Land Aircraft Carrier stands out for its innovative concept. Design includes two complementary modules that work together. The base module, which serves as a base, is driven as a conventional car. The air module takes off autonomously whenever necessary. During a normal trip, the flying module remains coupled to the vehicle. However, when the situation requires a short flight, separates and raises flight, ensuring a fluid transition between the two modes of transport.

Tan Wang, co-founder of Xpeng, stressed the importance of this advance. According to this, “since our debut in CES 2024, we have realized the dream of the flying car. Land Aircraft Carrier demonstrates our ability to turn vision into action. With more than three thousand orders, we are at the forefront of the advanced mobility revolution. ”

According to, to make air mobility a reality, XPEG has outlined a strategic plan in three phases. First, make the personal flight accessible, simplifying the user’s experience and improving technology. Then develop real air transport scenarios, collaborating with regulatory entities to ensure efficient integration in cities. Finally, create a fully integrated urban mobility system between Earth and Air, allowing fast and continuous displacement.

Land Aircraft Carrier’s performance stands out for its thousand kilometers autonomy, according to the Chinese CLTC cycle. The vehicle operates with an 800 volt silicon carbide power platform, ensuring efficiency in long trips and resistance to adverse conditions. To ensure large -scale production, Xpeng Aeroht obtained $ 150 million. In addition, it began building a factory in Guangzhou, China, with 180,000 square meters. This unit will be able to produce up to 10,000 air modules per year.

The land module measures 5.5 meters long, 2 meters wide and height. Design allows comfortable and versatile driving, proper to both cities and roads. The air module, on the other hand, includes a panoramic cockpit for two passengers, folding propellers and a vertical take -off and landing system. Thus, it ensures a simple and safe operation.

Since 2024, Xpeng has been present in Portugal through partnership with Salvador Caetano Auto. Currently, it sells electric models such as G6 and G9 SUVs, as well as P7 Sports Berlin. Now, with the launch of Land Aircraft Carrier, the brand reinforces its commitment to innovation. Thus, it draws a future where sustainable mobility joins the road to heaven.
