The Ponta Grossa (PR) court concluded on Thursday (30) that the former advisor to the Presidency of the Republic fulfilled the precautionary orders that were imposed by the minister () for his release in August last year. The main one is the use of an electronic anklet.

Moraes asked for explanations from the judiciary of the city of Paraná, where Martins lives, after the period of use of anklets in Paraná, 150 days, to have run out.
In his report, Judge Thiago Bertol de Oliveira lists dates in which there was punctual failures in the communication of Martins data issued by the anklet. But he says this was due to technical issues, which are not the responsibility of the former advisor.
These include incongruities in the location of Martins on some nights and dawn, when he needs to be at home. This occurred, however, due to the rugged terrain of the city of Paraná, which can give inaccuracies into the signal of the device, without meaning breach of the rules.
“The absence of non-compliance with conditions imposed, not passing the notes of the system of mere systemic inconsistencies, which are not able to harm the investigated, which is why, receiving the opinion of the prosecutor, I justified the records.” , says Bertol. The report will now be sent to the STF minister.
