It is one of those topics in which the People’s Party and the Freedomers agree. Even more, it connects them: the fight against “radical Islam”. It is a core for both parties. ÖVP as well as FPÖ, a prohibition law demands against the Nazi ban law. It is therefore not surprising that the blue and black coalition negotiators at the federal level were able to quickly record success despite several issues in this area. At the beginning of the week, the coalitioners announced that the thematically broadly established subgroup “constitution, deregulation, public service, fight against anti -Semitism and political Islam” already agreed on some points.
