Copies of the Koran were burned next to several mosques

The Sweden Attorney General’s Office had deducted in August last year accusations against two men for inciting hatred by burning copies of the Koran, the Holy Book of Muslims, actions that caused a widespread indignation in Muslim nations and led to several attacks, as what happened against the Swedish embassy in Iraq.

The two men, 38 and 49, were accused of four crimes of hatred of hatred against an ethnic group by the incidents, starring in the vicinity of various stocolm mosques, based on videos that show them to burn copies of the Koran.

At the time, Momika claimed that his protests targeted the religion of Islam and not the Muslims and said they wanted to protect the population from Sweden from the Koran messages.

Swedish police allowed the demonstrations by league freedom of expression. In October 2023, Swedish immigration authorities decided not to extend Momika’s residence permit, which was a Iraqi refugee for providing incorrect information about their need for protection.

However, Momika eventually received a new provisional authorization, since his deportation for Iraq could not be executed for security reasons.
