In Gibiteca Henfil, it is possible to access More than 10,000 titles among comics, comics, periodicals, books on comics and zines. There are even some rarities: a facsimile of Superman’s first magazine, Monica’s first magazine and some copies of “Tico Tico”, the first magazine to publish comics in the country.
Readers can lend up to 10 comic books, among the circulating specimens.

The Gibiteca of the Monteiro Lobato Children’s Library, in Vila Buarque, has a collection of over 4,400 specimens of comics and more than 2,300 collections of comics and manga, as well as board games and reading spaces.
The opening hours follow the same hours as the library: Monday to Friday, from 8am to 5pm, and on Saturdays, from 10am to 2pm.
