Player and Clarice Sales engaged first conversation during the burial of her neighbor’s grandson
After 13 years, Danilo is back in Brazilian football. The two have been in a serious relationship for 15 years, and have known each other in their teens. The story, by the way, is very unusual – after all, the first contact was in a cemetery. At the time, Danilo was 14 years old and Clarice, 12. The eyes crossed during a child’s funeral, grandson of a neighbor of both. They started talking, found that they attended the same school and became friends.>
“For many years we had colorful friendship. Only in 2010 did we take on a more serious relationship after the first kiss at Carnival,” Clarice said in an interview with a Portuguese newspaper.>
After leaving Santos in 2012, Danilo headed to Porto, from Portugal. The beloved went together, and dropped family, friends and college in Brazil. Decided to invest in fashion.>
“I decided to take a consulting and style course and ended up plunging into this universe and never left,” he said in an institutional video of his clothing brand, L’Amore, who opened five years ago in Juiz de Fora.>
The couple moved again in 2015, when Danilo was hired by Real Madrid, from Spain. Two years later, the two were married in a luxurious and intimate ceremony, with no great fuss in the national press. A few days later, the player moved to another club: Manchester City of England. In 2019, it was the athlete’s turn to get Juventus from Italy.>
