– There are still many deeply rooted fears in Polish society, we are technological skeptics – he assesses Dominik Baraniecki from the department of printed electronics, textronics and assembly of the center of advanced materials and technology of the Warsaw University of Technology. – When we compare ourselves with other countries, you can see how much fear we are. Many of them result from a lack of knowledge about the real operation of the electromagnetic field – PEM. We are afraid of nuclear power plants, X -ray radiation during diagnostics, high voltage line, electromagnetic waves.
Overcome disinformation
Before the development of new technologies, investments in super -fast and reliable networks of subsequent generations scare disinformation groupsdisseminating false information about “electrosmog”, “DNA damage”. As a result Poland cannot keep up behind global digital communication standards.
A chance for development
– So we have an urgent need for education in this area, overcoming barriers resulting from disinformation. We have a chance to become a country that effectively uses the potential of artificial intelligence and telemedicine. Soon, thanks to intelligent technologies, telemedicine will become the basis of Polish healthcare, algorithms analyzing medical data in real time will detect diseases at an early stage, patients will be able to obtain diagnoses without leaving home, and patients from small towns have better access to specialists.
I am an optimist and I believe that these innovative technologies will become more and more common with us. And being part of these technological changes, we will become a healthier, more innovative society, an equal partner, for those that today are at a level higher than us.
