The Minister of the Secretariat of Institutional Relations, presented on Friday (31) the first list of government priorities in the resumption of the work of the Congress and said that President Luiz Inácio da Silva will receive on Monday (3) the elected for the presidency (3) from and from the federal to a first meeting.
The election will take place this Saturday (1st), with the likely victory of the favorites (Union-AP), in the Senate, and (-PB), in the House.
Padilha, who is removed from the ministry and to vote for the House election, said Lula should invite the elected to a conversation on Monday morning, before the opening session of the legislative year.
The government will also present, in the second week of February, the list of priorities in Congress for party leaders.
The main item will be, with the exemption for those who receive up to R $ 5,000 and the taxation of income exceeding R $ 50 thousand per month. But the text, according to Padilha, is still being prepared at the Ministry of Finance and the shipping date is not set.
Another priority theme, long -term, is the PNE (National Education Plan). The bill was delivered to the House last year, but so far it has not started to be debated.
For the short term, Padilha listed three bills that will be defended by the government: Believes export (credit line to help micro and small companies export); Increased penalty for illegal burning; and a proposal from Senator Alessandro Vieira (MDB-SE) with rules to protect children and adolescents on social networks. The three texts are in the chamber.
“A very important debate, which the government will want to do with Congress, is to protect people, families, businesses, from crimes that take place in the digital environment,” said Padilha, citing Vieira’s project, which was approved by the Senate Federal at the end of 2024.
