Earlier than expected, it once again became serious for Signa founder René Benko on Friday. Due to the holiday, the first detention survey was held in the Vienna Criminal Court this week. The deadline for this would have run until February 7th. From 1 p.m., the judge negotiated in the presence of Benko, his lawyer Norbert Wess and a chief prosecutor of the Economic and Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (WKStA)- and Benko was doing badly.
