The president () said he knew that his government did not deliver what he promised. The speech was made at the press conference granted on Wednesday (30) when commenting on the poor evaluation he received in recent research.
At the meeting with journalists, you can see the reaction of Sidônio Palmeira, Lula’s new minister of Secom (Secretariat of Communication), when he heard the president say that “one should not worry about research.” The most recent, from Quaest, pointed out a negative government assessment from the perspective of the population.
Sidônio has been working on the president’s image since he took office, with changes in government communication strategy.
“Don’t worry about research, because the people are right: we are not delivering what we have promised. So how will the people talk well of the government if they are not delivering?
“The research was not done for you to like it or not. The research was done for you who is responsible for analyzing it, checking if it has a real background and you start making the necessary corrections,” he added. “It’s too early for you to do research by jumping in 2026. It’s too early to evaluate the government with two years.”
