Bogota (Reuters)-The Ministry of Communications of Venezuela confirmed in a post on Telegram on Friday that President Nicolás Maduro will meet with US envoy for special missions, Richard Grenell.
They have a recent troubled history, marked by broken diplomatic relations, sanctions and accusations of criminal activities and coup conspiracies.
However, the two countries share interest in several pending bilateral issues, including a license that allows the Great American Office Chevron operate in the South American country, the arrest of US detainees in Venezuela and a wide immigration to Trump repression which should increase the number of deportations.
