The monitored by electronic anklet and drug addict, identified as Ronilson Freire Ferreira, 35, was found dead on Thursday night (30) inside his residence, located at Travessa Bem-Te-Vi, with access by the Ramal do Pole, in the Calafate region, in Rio Branco.

According to police reports, the victim’s brother went to his house and, by not getting an answer, broke the window to check what was going on. Upon entering, he found Ronilson lying in his room, his stomach, in the midst of a large amount of blood.

Immediately, the brother triggered the Military Police and the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu). An advanced support ambulance was sent to the scene, but the paramedics could only attest to the death.

The area was isolated by the Military Police for the work of the criminal expertise. Initially, the experts found that Ronilson had cuts in the legs, arms and face, possibly self -inflicted during a psychotic outbreak caused by the use of narcotics. The body was removed and sent to the Forensic Medical Institute (IML) for cadaverous examinations.

According to police, Ronilson was being monitored by the Institute of Penitentiary Administration (Iapen) due to a crime of theft and wore electronic anklet about 12 days ago.

The cause of death will be confirmed after the completion of the expert report, which must be issued within 30 days.

The case is under investigation by the Civil Police Emergency Team and will later be referred to the Homicide and Personnel Protection Police Station (DHPP).
