Soap, antibacterial wipes and basic disinfectants will also be useful, as hygiene is as important in crisis situations as food.

Many preppers also add hydrogen or alcohol peroxide to help with disinfection of wounds and surfaces. And if you want to be really ready, do not forget enough toilet paper, which at critical moments becomes one of the most valuable commodities.
