Last year Google and Openai published some remarkable studies. It was about estimating the dangers through artificial intelligence (AI). One of the risks mentioned was KI’s ability to reproduce itself. It is a scenario that is well known from science fiction where it drives different dystopian stories. The danger: A AI system that is to be deleted due to misconduct could oppose the annihilation. In the studies, the real risk for this was currently classified as low.
