The City of Rio Branco has spoken in support of Judge Zenair Ferreira Bueno and RBTrans superintendent, Clendes Vilas Boas, after both being the target of death threats.
The intimidations occurred due to the supervision actions of clandestine transportation application activities in the Acrean capital.
In an official note, the municipal management expressed full solidarity to the victims, repudiating the threats and highlighting that such attitudes are inadmissible. The city stressed that respect for institutions and the integrity of public servants must be a priority under any circumstances.
In addition, the note highlighted confidence in security forces so that investigations into threats are rigorously conducted, to ensure the safety of citizens and those who work in public functions responsibly.

The Rio Branco City Hall expresses its total solidarity to Judge Zenair Ferreira Bueno and RBTrans superintendent, Clendes Vilas Boas, who were the subject of unacceptable threats due to the exercise of their public functions.
Being part of a management that has as its premise the care of people and respect for laws, it is inadmissible for any citizen – especially those who perform their duties with responsibility and commitment to the public interest, whether of the executive, legislative or judiciary – power – be the target of intimidation or acts that undermine your integrity and security.
Dialogue and respect for institutions should always prevail, and the Rio Branco City Hall reaffirms its commitment to order, democracy and the rule of law.
We reinforce our confidence in the security forces for the proper determination of facts and reiterate our purpose of generating production, employment and dignity to Rio-Banquenses.
