A man was shot on the morning of Monday by invading the containment area of the Evaristo de Moraes Prison in Sena Madureira, in an attempt to throw cell phones for detainees. According to information, he intended to provide appliances to members of a criminal organization arrested at the scene.

The criminal police responded to the unjust invasion using non -lethal armament, firing rubber bullets at the suspect. The accused managed to escape, abandoning a package with three cell phones and some electronic components, as well as a bicycle that used as a means of transport. The material was seized and should undergo investigation.
Still on Sunday (2), the police had already intercepted four other cell phones, some with internet access, plus five porters and a USB cable. The seizures occur days after a scan made by criminal police, with the support of the GPOE tactical group, from the capital Rio Branco. The action withdrew illicit objects from the prison, as determined by the Criminal Execution Law (LEP).

The management of the prison unit has reinforced its commitment to maintaining order, security and discipline, stating that it will continue to combat attempts to invasion and enter prohibited materials in the prison, always acting within legality.
