A degase agent (General Department of Socio Educational Actions), identified as Alexander de Araújo Carvalho, Died during a trawler on the yellow lineat the time of Bonsucesso, Fundão, in Rio de Janeiro, on the morning of Monday (03).
According to the Military Police, the agents were called for a trawler. At the scene, the police were informed that a vehicle had been approached and there was confrontation.
During the action, Alexander de Araújo was hit by a firearm shot and died at the scene. Also according to the PM, the suspects fled towards the Maré Complex and the occurrence is still underway.
According to information from the Official Gazette of Rio de Janeiro, Carvalho had been a degase agent for over 10 years.
The Rio Operations Center reported that the Fundão direction of the Yellow Line is partially banned at the height of Bonsucesso (exit 07) due to the police occurrence.

To avoid congestion, the Rio Operations Center recommends drivers to use alternative routes, such as the highway Grajaú-Jacarepaguá or Alto da Boa Vista.
The Capital Homicide Police Station (DHC) was called and the expertise was requested for the site. Diligences are underway to investigate the authorship of the crime.
