Slovenian Luka Doncic used his social networks this Sunday (2) to post a farewell letter addressed to Dallas Mavericks fans.
The athlete got involved in one. He was negotiated with Los Angeles Lakers. The negotiation involves Doncic’s trip to California and the Texas team.
Several athletes and even a draft choice were also placed on the table so that the movement that took the sports world materializes.
In the letter, Doncic said he wanted to spend his entire career at Mavericks and declared his love to the city of Dallas.

Dear Dallas,
Seven years ago, I came here as a teenager to pursue my dream of playing basketball at the highest level. I thought I would spend my career here and wanted to bring you a title. The love and support you all gave me is more than I could have dreamed. For a Slovenian boy who came to the US for the first time, you made the northern Texas look like a home. In good and bad times, from injuries to the NBA endings, your support has never changed. Thanks not only for sharing my joy at our best times, but also for supporting me when I needed it most.
To all the organizations I have collaborated with throughout the community of Dallas, thanks for letting me contribute to your valuable work and join you to bring light to those who needed it. When I start the next part of my journey in basketball, I will be leaving a city that will always be a home to me away from home.
Dallas is a special place, and the MAVs fans are special.

First words as Lakers player
Minutes after the farewell, the Slovenian athlete shared a post from his new team, Los Angeles Lakers, celebrated the new career challenge and promised to surrender for titles.
“Grateful for this incredible opportunity. Basketball means everything to me, and no matter where I play, I will do it with the same joy, passion and objective, win championships, ”he posted Doncic.
