In December, the magistrate gave up the nomination made by the (Federal Supreme Court) to run for the presidency of the Association of Brazilian Magistrates.
The Supreme Court will now meet to propose a new name to the Senate, which has the prerogative to approve it. One of the court’s priorities is not missing the opportunity to increase diversity in CNMP, a predominantly male and white organ.
Some of the possibilities being cited are the secretary general of the National Council of Justice, Adriana Cruz, who is the federal judge of TRF2, Judge Flávia Martins de Carvalho, current listener of the STF, the judge of the Federal District Luciana Rocha, the magistrate Lívia Cristina Marques Peres, from TRF1, and Judge Fabiane Pieruccini, from the TJ of Paraná.
There is no date yet for the STF to make the indication, but it is expected to occur soon.
