Dependents of deceased beneficiaries of the National Institute of Social Security (INSS) may request unpaid amounts until the date of death. The Call residue is passed on to the heirs who are entitled to receive the death pension.
For cases where there are no qualified dependents, the benefit will be destined to the heirs of the deceased person, upon judicial authorization or the presentation of a public deed.
How to request
For both those who are entitled to pension and for those who do not have, the request for payment must be made through the application my INSS or by, in the tab “request value not received until the date of death of the beneficiary”.
The requirements may also be made by phone 135, which serves from Monday to Saturday, from 7am to 10pm (Brasília time).
When there is more than one pension granted, the municipality clarifies that the payment of the waste should be made proportionate to the amount of quotas of each benefit.
“If there is more than one heir, the payment will be made to each of them proportionally, or as determined in the sharing document. Each heir must individually require the service to receive their part of the residual value of the benefit, ”explained the INSS.
Necessary documents to receive the values
- Death certificate of the beneficiary;
- Identification document (ID, CNH, Work Card, Passport) and CPF of the applicant;
- Judicial permit or sharing by public deed.
In addition, the body points out that the payment of any and all waste must be monetarily updated from the date the credit should have been paid.
In situations where the amounts have already been deposited in the insured’s account, even after the date of death, they must be requested from the banking institution where the insured already received his benefit.
