Now the Saudi responsible want another version. Entertainment Authority President Turki Alalshikh revealed that he has already reached an agreement with Hans Zimmer, at least about the “general contours”.
Hans Zimmer is a famous German composer, winner of various awards, including four Grammys and two Oscars – for being the creator of the Sound Band of The Lion King e Dune – Duna.
“We discussed a lot about many projects that I hope to see the daylight soon… including the reorganization of the Saudi National Anthem with different instruments ”, revealed Turki Alalshikh, quoted in the newspaper.
The idea is to ward off the national anthem from the days when “Arab fanfare” was popular at that time, almost 80 years ago.
Another possible collaboration of Hans Zimmer will be a musical named ‘Arabia’, inspired by Saudi Arabia; In addition to a “very big concert” and creating the soundtrack for a Saudi movie soon.
