Cannes – French actress Juliette Binoche becomes President of the jury at this year’s film festival in Cannes. The 60-year-old took over the chair 40 years after her first appearance at France’s renowned film festival, said the festival. “Juliette Binoche convinced the audience and critics alike and combined today’s world-class filmography,” it said. The jury decides on the main prize, the golden palm.
