Keksy began to bake in ancient Rome. In accordance with the preserved regulations, they were made on barley dough and added grenades, pine nuts and raisins to them. In the Middle Ages, this cake was enriched with honey, spices and fruits.

Yogurt cake is made of popular products that we usually already have in the kitchen. This cake is worth preparing when we do not know what to do with other nuts or dried fruit.
What ingredients do we need to make a kex? Here is the list:
- 2 cups of wheat flour;
- 1 cup of Greek yogurt;
- 1/2 cup of oil;
- 3/4 cup of sugar;
- 3 eggs;
- 2 teaspoons of baking powder;
- 3 pieces of dried mano;
- 2 pieces of dried figs;
- 2 tablespoons of raisins;
- 2 tablespoons of walnuts.
Remember that the ingredients have room temperature. Thanks to this, the dough will come out more fluffy and bake evenly.
To prepare a yogurt fruit. Then gradually add wheat flour with baking powder, without stopping to grind the mass.
In the next step we add Greek yogurt and oil. Mix the whole until the ingredients are combined.
Then we chop the mango and figs and throw them into the mass. We also add raisins and walnuts. Mix everything thoroughly.
Pour the prepared dough into a mold previously lined with baking paper. We bake them in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 50 minutes (The stick must be dry).
Finally, set aside the fruitcake to cool. We can additionally sprinkle it with powdered sugar or pour it with icing.
