Reading the president’s message (PT) during the opening of the legislature on Monday (3) was marked by protests by Bolsonarist deputies.
Under the embarrassed look of Minister Rui Costa (Civil House), the opponents posted at the foot of the House Tribune and shouted “Lula, where are you? The people are having something to eat.” Part of them wore a cap with the inscription “Cheap Food again. Bolsonaro 2026”.
Governors reacted with the “no amnesty” scream. Government ministers and allies wore the same Saturday cap (1st), with the phrase “Brazil is from Brazilians”.
Minister Alexandre Padilha was the one who ordered the caps in response to those used by the Bolsonarists in support of US President Donald Trump. Government leader at, Jaques Wagner (BA), said the message is a Brazilian statement.
“There is nothing offensive. But nowadays, it has become a caps of caps,” Wagner said, stating that the cap manufacturers will like.
