The former senator José Reguffe52, joined solidarity on Monday night (3). He had been out of party since his departure from União Brasil in 2022.
Regula began his political career in 2007, when he took over a district deputy chair by the PDT, which was affiliated until 2016. In the 2010 elections, he was the proportionally voted federal deputy in the country, receiving 266.465 votes (or 18,95% do total).
In the next election, in 2014, he was elected senator, carried out that he occupied until February 1, 2023. In the Senate, Regula was affiliated to Somos, between 2019 and 2022, and União Brasil.
In 2022, the then senator launched his pre-candidacy for the Federal District government. However, União Brasil chose at the time for supporting the reelection of Ibaneis Rocha (MDB).
Regula left the caption shortly thereafter, not even running for reelection to the Senate.
In a statement, Solidarity praised Regula’s performance as district, federal and senator.
