December industrial production is expected to retreat 1.2% in Brazil, according to the estimated medians. The projection is that the industry in 2024 has closed with growth of 2.9%.
Data from the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) will be released on Wednesday (8). In November, the industry fell 0.6% in production, according to the series.
“This expectation of industry cooling was already pointed out due to other industry indicators,” says Téo Takar, Bom Dia Mercado’s editor-in-chief CNN Money.
