Guarujá Academy uses flooding as a marketing strategy

In a video posted on social networks on Tuesday (4), a Guarujá gym used as a marketing strategy the flood caused due to heavy rains that hit the city.

In an interview with CNNthe employee said the water has lowered, but the flooding is recurring, and that when a stronger rain falls, it takes about 10 minutes for the water to start taking over the street.

“In the meantime ends up hurting our work, because customers are unable to have access to the gym and sometimes the water ends up damaging some equipment, especially in the reception part,” said the employee.

The academy said it wanted to approach with humor the difficulties caused due to frequent flooding. “Our goal was to take a situation that is difficult for us and turning into humor, keeping talking about the serious part of the subject, warning about the need for improvements in the city,” he said.

With the repercussion, the post became almost an ombudsman and the establishment said it had a good return. “We have always dealt with all the subjects that happen on our Instagram in this way, this is our language to talk to our audience, so our videos always have a high engagement, the guys always share, always together with People, ”he concluded.
