Vitória won its first triumph in the Northeast Cup. Even playing with a modified team and without some important pieces, the lion was efficient and beat Sousa-PB, 1-0, on Tuesday night (4), in Barradão. >
The positive result was built in the first half. Janderson again showed opportunism and sent a bomb to put the team in advantage. The center forward scored the fourth goal in the year and is the top scorer of the red-black. >
The victory at home leaves the club Bahia in second place in Group A, with four points. Leo’s next opponent in the Northeast Cup will be against the rail. Before, the team faces Porto, this Saturday, for the Bahian Championship, in Barradão.>
Coach Thiago Carpini ran the cast and put on the field a different team than he drew 0x0 in the classic against Bahia. Lucas Archangel was spared and gave way to Gabriel. Wagner Leonardo, who underwent a dental procedure, was also out. Already Matheuzinho has been a starter again. >
The duel began with Sousa wanting to surprise, but the first big chance was Red-Black. Claudinho crossed in the area, the defense tried to move away, but gave Janderson sugary. Head, the attacker ended up sending out. >
Vitória had difficulty in offensive construction, but when he got it right he was close to opening the scoring again. Bruno Xavier received release and was going out in the face of the goal, but was knocked down by Iran. In the free kick, Wellington Rato sent in the barrier.>
The match was moving towards a draw in the first half, only at 45 minutes the story changed. Claudinho crossed in the area, Cáceres straightened and the ball still hit Zé Marcos before left for Janderson to kick hard and puff the nets: 1×0 victory. >
Vitória returned from the electric interval. Without giving loopholes to the opponent, the lion launched the attack and began to stack chances to do the second. Claudinho crossed low and the ball ran the whole area without anyone to finish. Minutes later, the side himself received from Janderson, however the kick was locked. >
To try to enjoy the good time in the match, Carpini put new blood on the red and black team. Baralhas and Gustavo Mosquito entered the places of Ricardo Ryller and Wellington Rato, respectively. >
The change almost had an effect. In the first participation, Mosquito crossed from the right, the Sousa defender and the ball was left for Baralhas. The steering wheel tried from outside the area and the round went close to Bruno Fuso’s goal.>
Despite the advantage, the final stretch of the match gained tension when Willian Oliveira pulled the rival player, received the second yellow card and was expelled. Carpini then sacrificed Carlos Eduardo, who had entered the 2nd half, and gave way to midfielder Ronald. >
Sousa started to have more offensive presence and almost tied in a kick from outside the area. But the Paraibano team could not take the chances and Vitória waited for the final whistle to celebrate the triumph at home.>
