More than 100 left-wing entities, gathered on the Brazil and fearless people and people, decided, at a meeting on Tuesday (4) in São Paulo, to hold a “popular plebiscite” about OAS, with the taxation of the richest.
The organization process begins in March. The idea is that the vote will take place in August and September, ending on Independence Day. A question about climate change may also be added.
Among the entities that will promote the consultation are unit, and in addition to organizations of black, women and LGBT movements. Representatives of PT, PSOL and PC do B also attended the meeting and joined the proposal.
The movements seek to resume the protagonism on the social agenda as they had in 2001, when they made a plebiscite over the time, more than 10 million people voted the overwhelming majority against the proposal.
