PT members argue for the creation of a “political core” that makes frequent meetings and offers alternatives to President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva in government decision making.

For Lula, the dispute from now on is to guarantee the political discourse for the 2026 elections.

One of the expectations of members of the subtitle is that, with the trip of Gleisi Hoffmann (PT-PR) to the Planalto Palace, the sewing for this “core” could be facilitated.

The factors cited are the experience of the accumulated petista since 2019 as president of the PT and the confidence that the president has in the federal deputy.

Gleisi is quoted to assume the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Republic, in place of Márcio Macêdo (PT-SE), in a ministerial reform.

The assessment is that the performance of opposition on social networks requires rapid response.

A “political core” could give the perspective of possible crises with action proposals to avoid political losses for the government.

One example is a. In this analysis, if this “nucleus” acted with the Ministry of Finance, the possibility of the opposition’s political gain would be smaller.

One of the president’s allies criticism in this third term is that Lula does not open to conversations and has few “consultants” close to assist in decisions.
