Software updates on cars leave Swiss car trains in traffic jams

“Relaxed past the traffic jam.” With this promise, the ÖBB advertise their range of car trains. Exactly the opposite is currently reported by beyond the border. On Swiss car trains you are currently regularly stuck – not because of other trains, but because of other cars. And not because in old models when transported from A to B, the gear gave up the ghost, but because state-of-the-art vehicles have not yet completed their software updates when they reach the target station. Instead of the rapid journey, nothing works for the time being. And the way for the fellow travelers from other cars remains blocked like the Swiss Day indicator reported.
