On Thursday, the Democratic Democratic Party MPs called on the investigation of possible threats to national security, which they believe is the Commission for the Effectiveness of the Government (Doga) led by billionaire Elon Musk. According to Reuters, TASR reports this.

The legislators addressed a letter to the representatives of the general inspectors of several federal authorities, including the Ministries of Finance and Education, the HR authorities and for the General Services or the United States agencies for international development (USAID). The addressees of the letter are primarily the immediate subordinates of these high -ranking officials – President Donald Trump released the inspectors themselves two weeks ago.

Musk, the richest man of the world, said earlier this week that Trump had agreed to close USAID. Employees of this agency, which Musk describes as irreparable, received a holiday ordered last week.

Democrats from the Committee of the House of Representatives believe that unauthorized persons now have access to the systems and classified data in the USAID IV office. According to Congressmen, Musk’s team also got into American payment systems in which millions of Americans are personal data.

In the letter, they have therefore expressed a deep concern that unauthorized access to the system could also occur at the level of the federal government, and this may pose a great threat to the personal privacy of US citizens and national security.

“Although Elon Musk seems to have gained the status of a ‘special government employee’, there is no evidence that he or any of his collaborators working under the nickname Doga ‘has the right to access our government systems, nor any evidence of it that they have undergone a proper verification to ensure the safety of taxpayers and government data, “the democratic deputies said in their letter.

White House representative told Reuters Wednesday that Musk and his engineers have relevant security clearances and can see payment data but do not have the power to change it. He added that the billionaire and his team work in accordance with federal laws and as “employees of relevant agencies, not external advisors or entities”.
