Arrested 15 traffickers who tried to sell illegally 'trophy' weapons of the Ukraine Front

The Ukraine Security Service has managed to intercept, together with the Ukraine Security Service (SSU), several cargoes of weapons and ammunition that belonged to the frontline areas and old combat areas, in different regions of the country. At least fifteen people have been arrested within the framework of this operation, After trying to sell them to other criminals.

One of them was detected in the Poltava region, where he set up a clandestine workshop to replenish small weapons and some snipers, for later sale. He was also arrested in the same area Another repeat resident which planned to market with a lot of combat grenades.

In the Zakarpattia region, four arms traffickers were arrested for trying to sell more than 1.5 kg of explosives with Electric detonators, military grenades and assault rifles AK-12. Meanwhile, in Jersón, another resident was also arrested who planned to sell anti -tank mines in unoccupied areas.

Finally, in the Bukovyna region, located on the northern slopes of the Eastern Central Carpats and the adjacent plains, at least seven people were demobilized after trying to bring weapons from the front and organize a channel to sell weapons in the western region. In total, detainees face sentences of up to 7 years in prison. The seized weapons will be taken to the Ukrainian Armed Forces for use in the conflict with Russia.
