Portimão prepares for a month full of emotion and adrenaline, with a diverse sports program that promises to attract athletes and enthusiasts of various modalities. Between resistance races, rhythmic gymnastics, cycling and events for the whole family, February will be a true center for sports activities for all ages.

The Algarve International Race Track opens the calendar of events with two important competitions. Between February 14 and 16, welcomes the prestigious proof of resistance Gulf 6 hourswhich brings together international teams and pilots for a high -speed race. Already between 21 and 23 February, it will be the turn of the F4 Spain Winter Championshipwhere promising young people of Formula 4 will have the opportunity to demonstrate their abilities before the 2025 season starts up.

On February 15, the city will be the scene of a prominent event in the rhythmic gymnastics, organized by the Mexilhoeirense Instruction and Recreation Club. In the José Sobral School Pavilion, in Mexilhoeira Grande, the Territorial Championship of Rhythmic Gymnastics – 2nd Divisiono 1st Division Preparation Tournament and the Meeting of Rhythmic Gymnastics of Benjamins, Children and Sets. With free admission, the event promises to delight fans of the sport, giving visibility to emerging talents of the region.

The Portimonense winning society marks the Valentine’s Day With a romantic walk through the Portimão riverside area, on February 16, from 9:30 am. The initiative invites couples to celebrate love in a healthy way and in contact with nature, in a relaxing and free participation course.

One of the high moments of the program will be the 51st edition of the Algarve Tour of Bicycle, which starts precisely in Portimão, on February 19, at 11:40. With a 190 -kilometer route towards lakes, the race is part of the international calendar and promises exciting disputes, with a mix of challenging stages and new arrival places.

From February 20 to 22, Portimão Arena receives the Portimão Trampoline Open 2025a trampoline and tumbling event that brings together athletes from all over the country. Organized by the Algarve Gym Portimão, this race promises a show of stunts and impressive maneuvers, in a vibrant athletes and audience environment.

The Portimão Municipal Stadium will be the scene of a major women’s soccer confrontation on February 21, at 7:45 pm, with the national team to face England, in a decisive game of UEFA Women’s League.
