Large economic groups announced agreements in the first weeks of 2025 to consume green energy in their activities. CCR, Ypê and Schulz began to opt for renewable sources from self -production contracts.
These large companies have signed contracts to become members or to lease power generation enterprises. One of the advantages is the exemption of sectoral charges.
In the free energy market, contracts can be closed directly with generators, which opens the possibility of buying energy without passing through distributors.

The agreement includes sufficient energy to meet 60% of CCR’s total energy demand. The amounts will be intended to serve trains and subway from the city of São Paulo.
