Lidl Portugal announced the opening of a new store in Cacém, in the municipality of Sintra, after a process of demolition and root construction where the previous unit was previously operated. The new structure features a wider space and modern design, providing a more comfortable shopping experience for customers.

The new store has a total area of 1,400 square meters, an increase of over 400 square meters compared to the previous space.
According to the supermarket group, the new layout is designed to improve the daily and weekly shopping experience, standing out through the large corridors, a higher ceiling and a entirely glazed facade, allowing natural lighting throughout the space.
Reinforcement in the team and job opportunities
The Lidl also says that, with the renewal, the store team was reinforced with seven new employees, with a total of 28 employees.
The company stresses that all workers benefit from a stable labor bond, with contracts without term and access to opportunities for training and career progression within the company.
Part of the brand modernization plan
