Mysterious discovery in India

In India, legends about devastating ancient wars circulate for a long time, in which weapons of mass destruction would have been used.

Recently, mysterious structures have been discovered that could have served as shelters against such attacks. They were found in the state of Bihar and are over 2,500 years old.

Archaeologists have identified two complexes of geological formations, called Barabar and Nagarjuni. In the first there are four caves, and in the second – three. The specialists consider them among the oldest structures discovered in India, dating from the period of the Maurya Empire, between the 4th and second centuries BC.

On the walls of these constructions were discovered ancient inscriptions, which mention that in the caves lived ascets. However, archaeologists believe that these structures were not initially used for religious purposes, because at that time the Indian temples were built in a much more sumptuous style.

Experts believe that these constructions could have been used initially as bunkers, and only later they changed their function and were used for religious purposes.

The hypothesis that conflicts with the use of weapons of mass destruction are quite popular in India would have taken place. This theory is mentioned in several of the fundamental religious texts of the country.

Scientists believe that, theoretically, civilizations may have appeared and disappeared several times throughout history. Thus, these enigmatic structures in India could have served as refuge for people in the face of proportions.

The evidence shows that the ancient Indians carved temples directly into the rock, which allowed them to live there for a certain period of time. These rooms were about 20 meters or even larger, and the rooms were interconnected by narrow and short corridors. Currently, it is estimated that there are approximately 100 such structures in India.
