A fire declared this Friday at the Bass of a building in the center of Valencia has caused an intense smoke on Pintor Benedito street, at the height of numbers 7 and 9. The flames are consuming the bass of the property where a bingo is located. According to sources from the Emergency Information and Coordination Center, Cicu, 18 people have been assisted by smoke inhalation and all discharged in the place.

The fire, which has begun around 17.30, has forced to cut traffic in the surroundings, between Pérez Galdós Avenue and Gran Vía Ramón y Cajal, according to municipal sources. Seven firefighters and an ambulance have moved to the area.

When the fire has been declared, a column of white smoke has risen and subsequently, an intense black smoke that prevented visibility and could be seen from different parts of the city. The smoke has forced the pedestrians to use mask, as some witnesses have told the EFE agency.
