Vienna – There has been a new model for the financing of the universities since 2019, and at the same time further access restrictions were made possible. Since then, the budget has mainly been awarded in the areas of teaching and research after achieving target values ​​(including exam active studies, degrees, personnel). However, the definition of important parameters was “not transparent throughout”, said the Court of Auditors (RH) in a report published on Friday.
