A Germany industrial production fell 2.4% in December November 2024according to data with seasonal adjustments published on Friday (7) by DESIGATIS, the country’s statistics office.
The result was below the expectation of analysts consulted by the The Wall Street Journal, that provided for a drop of 0.9% in the period.
In the annual confrontation, the production of German industry decreased 3.1% in December. The monthly data of November industrial production was slightly reviewed down, up 1.5% to gain 1.3%.
In the closing of 2024, Endatis estimates that German industrial production was contracted by 4.5% over the previous year, in a still provisional calculation.
