Decision about the first mowing of the lawn after winter Depends on several factors. The temperature, soil humidity and the condition of the grass itself are of key importance. The expert advises to wait until they are fulfilled three conditions:
- Temperature They will permanently exceed 7-10 degrees Celsius-this is a signal that the grass begins to grow actively.
- The ground will be dry – avoid mowing on wet soil so as not to damage the soil structure and leave ruts.
- The grass will reach a height of 8-10 cm-only then the first mowing will be effective and safe for plants.
