The State Secretary of Government and Institutional Relations of Tarcísio de Freitas Management, Gilberto Kassab, believes that President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (PT) does not signal that he will make renovations. “It will be in rice with beans,” said the PSD president in a statement on the arrival of the outliers event, promoted by Infomoneyin São Paulo.
“The president’s statements show that he is not in the mood to do much renovation,” he said. “He was very clear in some demonstrations.” Kassab’s assessment is that there is reason to worry about Brazil.
Kassab estimates that the political picture for the 2026 elections is still unstable. “It’s always like this: the municipal election ends, begins the election of governor and president, becomes the year. The Lula administration, until December, was starting and from January this year is finishing, ”he said.
