The new summit of the met with the president of, Ednaldo Rodrigues, this Wednesday (5), in Brasilia.
There were two contacts: a visit from Ednaldo to the president of the house, (-PB), and a lunch at the entity’s headquarters in the federal capital.
Motta was accompanying some of his main allies: PP leader Dr Luizinho (RJ), the first vice president of the House, Altineu Côrtes (PL-RJ), MDB leader Isnaldo Bulhões (AL), and From PSDB, Adolfo Viana (BA).
Among the topics discussed were projects for the development of the sport and the women’s World Cup, which will take place in Brazil in 2027.
The meetings show Ednaldo’s political prestige, at a time when he is challenged by the former.
Ednaldo was removed by court decision at the end of 2023. He returned to the post by virtue of an injunction granted by Minister Gilmar Mendes of the Supreme Court (STF).
