According to state police statement, search and rescue teams work to get the latest coordinates of the aircraft
A small commercial plane with 10 people on board disappeared on Thursday (6) in the northwest of announced the state police. Bering Air Caravan aircraft, with nine passengers and the pilot, was flying between the cities of Unalakleet and name, separated by just 235 kilometers through Norton Sound Bay.
The search and rescue teams “work to get the latest known coordinates” of the plane, authorities said in a statement. The disappearance is the latest in a series of air incidents in the United States. On January 30, the collision between a military helicopter and a passenger plane left 67 dead, two days later, the crash of a medical transport in a bustling neighborhood in Philadelphia killed seven people.
