Spring is slowly approaching and the gardens begin to wake up from winter sleep. In addition to other worries, their owners will again give wrinkles on the head of voles, moles and other uninvited guests. How about them?
The mole in the garden is revealed with the first horrifying pile of clay, which appears on the surface of the flower bed or even in the lawn. It is not so easy with the voles, but it is certain that careful and mindful gardeners cannot overlook their cognitive signs, which are mainly openings in the ground with a diameter of just a few centimeters, which lead to equally unobtrusive beaten paths.

Don’t wait for damage
If we overlook the first hints of the voles on the plot, they will not long to wait for worse problems such as the undisturbing plants that these small pests have damaged roots, and later it will also be bitten vegetables, and even young trees. A pity can be much greater than we would perhaps attribute to such small creatures. Therefore, it will be good to take action as soon as the first opening in the ground appears, or the path run out of really small paws. Spring and autumn are the strongest periods for the activities of the voles.
Define the boundaries with pepper
Obviously, even animal lovers will not have a great understanding for the voles and will try to “explain” who is the Lord on the land. A relatively easy solution is the use of Kayen Pepra, which is literally their scarecrow. The pungent odor that gives this spice reliably discourages them from another stay in the garden. Just pour it into the entrance parts of their corridors, sprinkle their paths and possibly pour it into the surroundings of plants that have charmed the voles. Rodents will soon understand that they are not welcome and move here – for example to a less careful neighbor.
Pepper is not the only one
Like cayenne pepper, other types of spices, such as dried ground hot pepper. It seems that the burning ingredients simply cannot tolerate. They are also similar with their relationship to castor oil, which irritates not only their olfactory cells but also the skin.
Try prevention
As soon as you drive out moles and voles from the garden, the right moment will come to preventive measures against their undesirable return. One of the possible variants is the construction of elevated beds, the bottom of which will be formed by a very fine mesh, which will not climb so much relatively small creatures. Furthermore, consistent care for the garden should follow, not only the beds themselves, but also the lawns.
Clean up in the garden
Why take care of all green areas in the garden? It is simple – any animal loves shelters where it can fall asleep or hide from the predator. In addition, there are ideal places where clutter, old junk, broken flower pots, but also scratched, but unproven leaves, or piles of torn weeds. If we keep the garden in order, we will not give rodents or other pests, an unnecessary opportunity to build a paradise on our land on our land. Then they think about whether they pay off with us. Most likely they will then go where they will feel safer. Both sides of the natural dispute will be satisfied.
