On average, the value was R $ 1,918, against R $ 1,944 in the previous month. Compared to January of the same year, the drop was 0.3% (R $ 1,923).
The survey is from LCA 4intelligence, with data from the hires made by Guppe.
The amount is calculated considering the National Consumer Price Index (INPC)which measures the variation of the cost of living of families with lower income, up to five minimum wages, and whose main source of income is salaried work.
Bruno Imaizumi, Economist at LCA 4intelligence and responsible for the study, explains that variation between months considers two important factors: inflation and supply.
“The hiring number varies according to the months. For months the salary has greater power due to the low number of hiring. The value is already corrected in inflation and shows a different side of the Brazilian labor market, ”he explains.
“The timing of hiring is also another factor that affects this value, since between months the need for a company can change, affecting the remuneration offered.”

According to the economist, these areas traditionally have a strong variation of remuneration.
“The different areas in which these positions can act explain the variation due to training. A technology analyst will have a different remuneration from one in the marketing area, ”he explains.
Already the function of director It represented the largest monthly (105.3%) and annual (34%) variation, due to the rarity of the position, as well as the area in which the function will be performed, says Imaizumi.
For Imaizumi, in 2025 positions like trainee e trainee They can see a positive variation in the real salary.
“There are companies that should opt for a more affordable workforce to meet their needs, which can benefit these two positions. Operator and auxiliary can also see an increase for the same reason, ”he says.
Overall, the economist projects that salary power must keep the current level, with the possibility of mild fall.
“Even if the job market discourages, we had an increase in the minimum wage at the beginning of the year, in this regard, the value ends up being a beacon for the formal and informal market, delimiting a possible decrease.”
