By 1 pm local time (05.00 CET), 51 regional and 12 international flights were canceled. In addition, 22 domestic arrivals, 19 domestic departures and one international flight were postponed, the airport said.
Korean Air has canceled all 23 flights to depart from 10.00 ha 18.35. Representative Korean Air added that all planned flights after 6 pm will also be likely to be canceled.
The Cuchi Airport applies to a strong wind warning, and also expects a snowstorm disturbing operation, the airport officials said. The cancellation of flights was also influenced by strong snowfall at other regional airports, they added.
